This Cookie Policy (“Policy”) explains how the Flashvery Operator Team (“we”, the “Operator”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Flashvery website and app (the “Service”). Except for essential cookies, cookies are used only with your consent. This Policy supplements the Privacy Policy (Beta).

1. Scope & Placement

  • This page serves as the destination of the banner’s “Learn more” link.
  • For individual rights and other privacy details, see the Privacy Policy (Beta).

2. Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential — Required for the website to function (security, consent records, language preferences, etc.). Always active.
  • Analytics — Used to understand usage and improve quality (e.g., Google Analytics). We do not use analytics to directly identify individuals.
  • Marketing (reference) — Not used at this time. If introduced, we will update this Policy and the banner.

3. Google Consent Mode (How It Works)

  • Before consent, defaults are denied so only minimal, cookieless signals may be sent; after consent, standard measurement resumes.
  • Default parameters (before consent):
    • security_storage / functionality_storage = granted (essential functionality)
    • analytics_storage = denied (becomes granted after consent)
    • ad_storage / ad_user_data / ad_personalization = denied (change only if we later introduce advertising features)

4. Managing Your Choices

  • On first visit, use Accept / Reject / Settings on the banner.
  • You can change your choices anytime via the “Open cookie settings” link in the footer (reopen).
  • You can also disable cookies in your browser; some features may not work properly as a result.
  • Where supported, we respect DNT/GPC (Global Privacy Control) signals.

You can view the full cookie list (vendor, name, purpose, retention) by clicking “Open cookie settings” in the footer (reopen link), opening Cookie settings, and selecting the “Cookie declaration” tab.

6. Third-Party Use (e.g., Google Analytics)

  • Analytics providers receive usage data only within the scope you consent to.
  • We aggregate and analyze data in a way that does not directly identify individuals, to improve features and quality.

7. Regional Notes (EEA/UK/Switzerland)

  • In these regions we obtain consent and provide a persistent way to revisit settings as required by applicable laws.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing).

  • We may update this Policy to reflect legal or service changes. Where material, we will provide notice on the site.
