Beta Program Notice

This Beta Program Notice (“Notice”) applies to your use of the Flashvery beta (the “Beta”) provided by the Flashvery Operator Team (“we”, the “Operator”). By using the Beta, you agree to this Notice. The Terms of Service (Beta) and Privacy Policy (Beta) take precedence, and this Notice supplements them.

1. Nature of the Beta

  • The Beta provides in-development features for testing. Features, UI, pricing, fees, and wording may change without notice.
  • Production-level availability is not guaranteed. Temporary outages, malfunctions, display inconsistencies, and data rollbacks may occur.

2. Scope & Known Limitations

  • Features are released gradually (e.g., parts of the creator console, AI usage limits).
  • Previews for non-purchasers are protected with blur and dummy data. Full chapters unlock after purchase.
  • Functionality that depends on third parties (e.g., Stripe, email, AI providers) is subject to those services and their terms/uptime.

3. Fees & Promotions

  • Platform Fee: normally 15%. Beta promotions apply as announced (e.g., first 30 sales at 0%).
  • Payment Fees: creators bear processor fees (e.g., Stripe). Chargebacks/refunds follow the processor’s rules.
  • AI Usage: During the Beta, AI features (e.g., Story Builder) may be unlimited, as communicated.

4. Data & Security

  • We use reasonable security measures, but cannot guarantee absolute security in the Beta.
  • Please back up important content yourself. Content export is on a reasonable-efforts basis and not an obligation.

5. Refunds & Support

  • Digital goods are generally non-refundable, unless required by law or permitted by a creator’s policy.
  • Support is provided within the Beta scope; no SLA (response/recovery times) is offered.

6. Feedback

  • We may request feedback and bug reports from Beta participants.
  • Except for confidential information, feedback may be used by us royalty-free for product improvement and communications.

7. Content Operations (Recap)

  • Continuity: No expiry for sales. If at least one buyer exists, a guide cannot be deleted or hidden (updates allowed). Saved-only guides may be deleted.
  • Preview Protection: Non-purchaser previews use blur/dummy data until purchase.
  • Minimum Price: We may set minimum price thresholds for processing/fraud reasons.

8. Accounts & Interim Measures

  • With a reasonable suspicion of rights infringement, fraud, or security risk, we may remove content and suspend or limit accounts and features without prior notice.

9. Changes & Termination

  • We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Beta for business or technical reasons. Material impacts will be announced where reasonable.
  • Based on Beta results, the product may not proceed to general availability.

10. Governing Law, Language, Contact

  • Governing law, venue, and prevailing language follow the Terms of Service (Beta).
