- Two hours inside gives you time for the highlights. Do not try to see everything — it is physically impossible in one visit.
- If going inside, enter via the underground Carrousel du Louvre entrance to skip the pyramid queue.

- Entry is around €22. Free for under-26 EU residents and on the first Saturday evening of each month. Timed-entry online tickets are strongly recommended.

- Open every day except Tuesday, typically 9am–6pm (late opening until 9:45pm on Fridays). The courtyard and pyramid can be seen anytime.

If you only have time for the outside, that is completely fine — the courtyard with the pyramid is one of the most photogenic spots in Paris. If you do go in, skip the Mona Lisa crowd and find the Winged Victory of Samothrace instead.
